You need Team of Experts or Employees


You already have the team (Employees) working on SEO/Digital Marketing for you. Why the need to Outsource SEO to someone else. Do we really need experts to do this task when a bunch of employees can manage the show? That's the mindset most of the customer has when we talk about outsourcing SEO work. Understanding Different Terms used in Digital Marketing

SEO - Search Engine Optimization

Efforts to make you searchable via a search engine are termed as SEO. Your ranking will show you the results. It can't be achieved instantly. Content, onsite and offsite optimization, keywords, link building etc are some ways to achieve this goal.

SEM - Search Engine Marketing 

When we pay for Keywords to Google Adwords, means driving traffic to your website via paid online advertising. So when you decide using this forms, your landing page (content) related to the Keyword will come on Top. This form is called Pay Per Click. 

SMM - Social Media Marketing

Promoting your Business/Website/Blog etc using Social media platform like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin etc generally fall under SMM category. Using it wisely definitely helps you to achieve your desired results. As all social media platforms are different and you need to choose or decide your strategy as per your business need.

PCC - Pay Per Click 

Advertising campaign where we decide to buy some keywords for our business/website/landing page/blog is termed as PCC. So we have to pay the required amount to a provider like Google every time someone clicks on our ad. 


SMO - Social Media Optimization

Social Media presence is all about sharing. It's not just you, but even the readers those who like your content/photo/infographic etc will share on Social Media. So need for having good content which will surely drive traffic to your website via social media.


Time required to have Digital Presence

Most important and very frequently asked question in Digital Marketing world. How soon I will be able to see results? Before we come to any conclusion, we need to understand few things about Digital Presence.

  1. First and most important item, there is nothing called instant here. Making presence or I would rather say required and right presence will take time. But how much? its really hard to commit anything, but it all depends on the requirement to requirement. But generally speaking good and visible results will take anything between 3-6 months. In simple words yes, it takes time.
  2. Multiple teams are involved in it, from HTML, PHP developer to infographic designer, content writer, Social media team, Video team, digital image team etc. and last but not the least, the team from a customer who will help us. Call it as Project team, who will be SPOC for any requirement from Digital Marketing team.
  3. Allocate sufficient budget for Digital Presence/footprint. As SEO Manager we have run multiple campaigns and constantly monitor them and make necessary enhancements as per requirement. We are working for you unless you see desired results we won't be happy and satisfied. So have patience and faith on the team.
  4. Focus on Organic research, as this is cost effective and long term solution for your Digital Presence. Keep the momentum going or would say keep it alive.
  5. Decide the required audience, as in today's world we have many ways to connect with the audience, selecting multiple and all the ways might increase your budget. So be selective and keep monitoring. 
  6. Lastly, it's an Art, not a science. So keep inventing.

Keyword Planner - Google Adwords

Few points on Google Adwords - Keyword Planner

As mentioned in my last post, the keyword would be our starting point for any SEO project. So if you plan for Organically improve your search results, keywords play an important ingredient. In this post just exploring few ways to use Google Adwords - Keyword Planner.
Once you logged into your google adwords account. From Menu select Tools > Keyword Planner. You will see something like :


Seach for new keywords using a phrase, website or category; will provide you an option to choose the combination of Keyword, landing page or category for which you need idea or suggestions. You can go with the first option where you just need to provide some keyword like "used cars", "second hand cars" etc.
Next filter available for us like region, language, search engine and negative keywords. Under the region, you can select a particular area to narrow down your search or select city, state or country. It all depends on which product and audience you are targeting. As these will impact your search result. Next important filter would be Negative Keywords. Assume you are not looking like free, cheap or online etc in your search result, just key-in those words here. It will filter your results accordingly.

Search Engine Optimization

SEO, If I define it in a simple world, it's a technique used by digital marketing experts to make you searchable by search Engines on certain criteria. Keywords, the criteria or differentiator on the basis search engine start ranking your page/site/article/blog. So for this post, we will just focus on Keyword.

Keywords are nothing but simple search phrases used by users on search Engine. Means the words you use a search engine to find something for you. 



So once you key in the required text on search bar you will observe at the very bottom of the same page some more related Keyword for the same topic.

So, what we need as SEO expert here if we have some more keywords on our website/page/blog we will be more searchable and can be found by more and more audience whom we would like to target with those Keywords. 

Now what, we will use some tools online like Moz or Google AdWords Keyword search tool to find top 5-10 keywords to satisfy our requirement. Next phase is how to use them. Shall I try to keep all of them on the homepage? No, that won't be a good idea, as Google might penalize you if you do too much. My best way to spread those Keywords in multiple pages or articles on your website/page/blog. That will gives you more ways to integrate your keyword.

Mind this it's not a science, it's an art how to please your website/page/blog with Keywords. So use it wisely.
